Carol Buehner has been playing with dolls and fabric for as long as she can remember. The first job of her mother was designing for the Arranbee Doll Company (R&B), which became Vogue Dolls.
Her mother’s last job was working with Carol on the latter’s own line of dolls, Ragamuffins, founded in 1987. The dolls have been marketed throughout the world ever since.
Carol’s business eventually grew to include custom hand-stamped and engraved jewelry. She established RoseCreekCottage, named after her studio nestled in the woods of Northeast Ohio.
“I appreciate each and every one of my customers. It is because of you that my business is a success. It is each of you who share RoseCreekCottage heirlooms with other women in line at the grocery store, at playgroups, and at school events. It is you who share our keepsakes with other moms, grandmas, sisters, and friends…at the office, family gatherings, luncheons, and dinner parties. You are our best form of advertising. And for that, I thank each of you.” – Carol Buehner
